As a certified European School, we particularly promote the examination of the European theme in all subjects. In the form of projects and through participation in competitions, we impart a knowledge of Europe and an understanding of its diversity of culture and values, therefore broadening our view beyond our immediate environment. Developing a tolerance and respect for this diversity while preserving our own cultural identity is an important concern for us. In addition, we enable our students to communicate in foreign languages and to cooperate on an international level. Through our partnerships abroad, we maintain Europe-wide contacts with other schools and carry out reciprocal visits with joint project work. Digital projects enable exchanges with pupils from all over Europe, which students from Erkelenz can participate in.
